Flusso asintotico (Fisica del Reattore nucleare)

Nella lezione precedente (nel piano!) avevamo separato il contributo al flusso totale di neutroni in due componenti: 1) flusso asintotico; 2) flusso transiente.
Il primo è dovuto alla presenza di singolarità polari nella funzione di variabile complessa che compare nell'integrando dell'espressione analatica del flusso totale. Il secondo, invece, è dovuto alle singolarità essenziali della predetta funzione.
Nella lezione odierna eseguiamo alcune "manipolazioni" del flusso asintotico, tenendo conto dei dati empirici per ciò che riguarda i valori delle varie sezioni d'urto. In particolare, ci riferiamo alla composizione del mezzo moderatore (acqua o grafite.)

In the previous lesson (in the plane!) we had separated the contribution to the total neutron flux into two components: 1) asymptotic flux ; 2) transient flow .
The first is due to the presence of polar singularities in the complex variable function that appears in the integrand of the analytical expression of the total flux. The second, on the other hand, is due to the essential singularities of the aforementioned function.
In today's lesson we perform some "manipulations" of the asymptotic flow, taking into account the empirical data as regards the values of the various cross sections. In particular, we refer to the composition of the moderator medium (water or graphite.)
