[¯|¯] Mathematical Foundations of Quantum Mechanics

We propose a series of readings taken from the famous book Mathematical Foundations of Quantum Mechanics by the famous mathematician John von Neumann.

The book is quite difficult, and requires a certain knowledge of the foundations of quantum mechanics. The purpose of this and subsequent posts is to present the fundamental aspects of the theory in a more understandable guise, without however losing the rigor that distinguishes this exceptional work.

Il libro è abbastanza ostico, e presuppone una certa conoscenza dei fondamenti della Meccanica quantistica. Lo scopo di questo post e seguenti, è di presentare gli aspetti fondamentali della teoria in una veste più comprensibile, senza tuttavia perdere il rigore che contraddistingue quest'opera eccezionale.
