Il seguente teorema fornisce l'espressione analitica del valore assoluto della curvatura di una curva regolare (di classe C^2). Inoltre, esprime un'interessante relazione tra le derivate rispetto al parametro t e al parametro naturale s, rispettivamente.

Comunque assegnamo una curva regolare γ di rappresentazione parametrica di classe C^(p >= 2), il valore assoluto della curvatura è data dalla formula di fig. 1.

The following theorem gives the analytical expression of the absolute value of the curvature of a regular curve (of class C ^ 2). Furthermore, it expresses an interesting relationship between the derivatives with respect to the parameter t and the natural parameter s, respectively.
